David is a Partner at Radical Ventures where he leads the Investment Team and oversees strategic initiatives and operations. David brings a strong foundation as both an entrepreneur and investor in emerging technology companies, with experience building and operating InsurTech, Digital Health and AdTech platforms. David is a member of the Velocity Team, where he provides go-to-market and corporate development support for our portfolio companies and leads the Compute practice group.
Prior to Radical, David founded and co-led several technology ventures across North America including InsLogic, a P&C insurance marketplace acquired by Capital One Bank; Portfolios.com, a marketplace and content marketing platform for creative freelancers serving the global advertising industry acquired by EQ Inc.; EQ Works, advertising platforms using machine learning for data management and programmatic media buying; Benecaid Health Benefits and the Honeybee digital benefits platform, both acquired by April International and now part of the Green Shield Canada group.
David earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario (1991) and his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School (1995).
